VICTORIAN & NEW SOUTH WALES BUSHFIRES.(FOR OUR OTHER RELIEF PROJECTS, SEE THE 'AID PROGRAM PAGE' on this website. ) As most Australians are aware many areas of Victoria have been ravaged by the worst bushfires in our recorded history of european settlement. It appears that the toll could be as high as more than 200 Victorians having lost their lives and thousands of others have lost their properties and belongings. We would like to pass on our sympathies to those affected and also to offer some assistance for current and potential Rad-Pads users. We already know that some of you are our valued customers and live in these areas, and Rad-Pads, along with Jane Bennett (Natural Fertility Management, author of 'The Pill - Are you sure it is right for you") and Alexandra Pope (co-author of same book) would like to offer women who use Rad-Pads who are affected with loss of property some complimentary Rad-Pads to start you off again with your cloth pad use while our 'relief pads' stocks last. If possible we would also like to assist women who are not currently using Rad-Pads to commence using them if their belongings were lost in the fires - while our 'relief pads' stocks last. We would need to discuss each situation individually as we want to ensure that the resources go to the right people. We would appreciate it if anyone so affected could contact us directly at info@radpads.com.au or (03)53303010, or PO Box 113, Mt Clear, Vic 3350, so that we can arrange delivery of your new pads. Current customers - we will most likely have your details still on our system so will be familiar with your most recent orders. The complimentary pads are bright red, brushed cotton pads waiting for you to claim them. For our international on-line visitors who have shown concern about the fires, you can go to www.abc.net.au (which is the Australian Broadcasting Comission) who I believe are sharing information through their site to all areas of the world. This site gives regular updates and includes contact numbers for the various relief organisations involved.
